A thunderous pulsation stirs the aerial vaults beyond A roar of blazing ember reams the tides of churning winds Tearing through the zenith, surging flames below respond Conflagrating distance, this is where the end begins Eyes abrim with boiling fear reflect the coming blaze Foaming trails of fire slash the dome of misplaced stars All above the charred spoils of dilapidated days Wood, glass, steel and bone - an arabesque of coal black scars When reality itself comes so violently undone Where can you run for shelter while death spreads on every side Swirls of sparks and screams rise to eclipse the blanching sun Scalding dissolution reigns, nowhere left to hide Again the air starts quivering through nauseous waves of heat Again the swelling rumble quakes the earth beneath your feet Panic knifes your paralyzed mind, each breath could be your last And bursting out of the flaming horizon returns the shining scythe Herald of the inevitable, unchained to soar aglow And as your thoughts evaporate and your blackening limbs writhe An incandescent doom engulfs the shrieking world below To cremate a stillborn future and a long dead past A sickly dawn creeps slowly 'neath colossal sheets of smoke A wilderness of ashes spreads where continents once stood And all that eons will witness probing silence's chill cloak Is no life ever sprouted here and never again would

It features the album mix of "Under the Flaming Death", one of the unreleased tracks we recorded specifically for this album, plus two exclusive alternate mixes (with completely different synth/orchestral arrangements and re-recorded vocals) of "Under the Flaming Death" itself and "Black MMX", one of the tracks from our long sold out debut "A Journey through Inner Solitudes" we rearranged and rerecorded for the occasion.

Both alternate mixes will NOT appear on the album, meaning that with this digital release you get over 17 minutes of exclusive bonus material!
